Grand Finale of the NFL Wives'Getaway...

Dinner at Antares Restaurant atop the Reunion Tower was a perfect way to end this weekend!  All the wifes got dressed up in gorgeous dresses and looked beautiful...so much fun....and I must say that I looked pretty good that night too...I wore my awesome new black heels...!  We just wont talk about how bad they hurt my feet all night...YIKES!  But well worth it...it was a blast to be apart of...I am so thankful to all of the NFL wives' that I have spent time with over the past few days.  You were so much fun and though I was "working" I so enjoyed visiting with you and getting to know you...and sharing about myself as well.  We are all wives..and mothers...and successful business woman...and you all made me feel very much 'apart' of your weekend...thank you!

More fun updates from the NFL Wives' Getaway...I am just so excited to share some of this with you all!  Let's see...where did I leave off...oh yes...Fridaynight...the girls met up at 300 Dallas, it's this really cool up-scale bowling alley...no smoking...clean...cool music....a really great place...I think that it is fair to say that they all had a great time...

 

Saturday...I met the girls at the CAP center in Dallas.  The wives' spoke with and encouraged many young woman and children from abusive homes and debilitating circumstances to strive for a better life.  They spoke with them about the importance of staying in school and to above all know that GOD is still in control and loves each one of them....it was truly an awesome day...the wives also fed these young woman and their children lunch and offered many hugs!

NFL Wives' Get-A-Way...

Hey everyone...as some of you know...I am shooting the NFL wives' getaway this weekend...and let me say that I am having a blast!  These ladies have come in from all around the country...leaving their husbands to take care of the kids...it is time for a little rest and relaxation for these busy wives'! This annual weekend retreat is a time to re-kindle old friendships, network and of course...SHOP!!!

We kicked off the weekend last night with a pajama party...the third floor suite at the Crescent Court opens to a beautiful pool...

I joined the ladies again this morning for breakfast.  Here is a few shots for you all to see...NOTICE the last picture....that's ME...in the middle...I am holding a copy of the newly released childrens' book "My Life....The story of an NFL child". I helped with the photography for this book last summer...I photographed six NFL families around the DFW metroplex who are featured in this book.  It is an adorable book...I am so honored that I was asked to be apart of it...Thank you Shelley!!

Quite an accomplishment...

I had the priveledge of photographing Captain Gary Tollerene... The pictures are in honor of his 25 years of dedicated service to the United States Navy.  Congratulations Gary on the truly admirable achievement!  I am sure that you will have no trouble filling your days with help from Cathy, (Gary's wife of 25 years) and sons Jay (21) and Ben (20)...who I have also photographed...such handsome guys!!

Sweet Baby Boy...Chase!

I am very excited to welcome the newest addition to the Simple Treasures Baby Plan...Chase was born only 11 days ago!  This little angel slept nearly the entire session...it wasnt until the end that he let us see his beautiful blue eyes!  He is a sweet baby and I am going to love watching him grow through out the year...

Everyone, meet Rene...a senior at Central High in Keller.  Rene is one of the sweetest girls I have met in a very long time.  She is the adored baby from a family of seven children...WOW!  This senior was a little shy at first...but it didnt take long for her to start ' working the camera '

Oh the snow...!

What funny weather we are having...hummm....the day before Easter...and we have snow flurries!  Can you tell I am a native Texan...it's a sure give away when I have my all children bundled up tight in their winter coats and I'm complaining about the "snow"!  Ok...a little silly, I know...but I wouldnt want them to get sick...! ha, ha!

I started my day off with this sweet 8 month old...Baby "L".  We made friends right away...she had quite a personality and a darling little face!  Her nursery offered a beautiful backdrop for us.  I cant wait to look at all the pictures, but here are a few that first caught my eye...

What a beauty...

everyone meet Miss Marah...this little baby has the most beautiufl eyes...I love how they sparkle!  Mara was in the studio yesterday for a Blessed Baby shoot...she was in a great mood and we were able to get some really great pictures for the BB website!  Marah is so much fun to photograph and is always so happy...SO... I thought I would press my luck...I couldnt help but to put her in one of my favorite peti skirts...!  She is such a girlie girl!

meet Gayla and her newest addtion, Miss Ainsley.  These girls came to the studio on Friday for Ainsley three month pictures.  Gayla has been a favorite client of mine since she first came to me two years.  I  photographed her pregnancy with first born Coen, now 18 mo.  They are such a fun family...and as you can see... gorgeous!
