Mr. Jaxson

Oh...I love this baby!!  And I love his mommy too...I first met Jaxson's mommy when she was still pregnant with him....she was a gorgeous pregnant woman...(you can see her on my website...)  This was the third time that I have photographed Jaxson who is now 6 months old....and though he was a little bit stingy with his smiles today...believe me...he is a happy baby boy!!!  I call him "Juicy"...and his mom just laughs at me...because she calls him "Juicy" too...but take a look at those lips...Juicy!

After our session, Jaxson and his mom stuck around for a while and played....My husband, myself and our two oldest children sat on the floor of the studio and played with Jaxson...my daughter couldn't stop holding him and loving on him...we did eventually give him back to him mommy...I hope she brings him back soon! *wink*

Another beautiful senior...

Lacy will most definitely be all over my new Senior Website...(coming soon)...she is a joy to know!  I photographed her in the studio a few weeks ago...and then yesterday we went out to 'play' in cowtown!  Lacy's dad was a highly respected and in-demand wedding photographer in Fort Worth... some years ago...*wink*.  So you can imagine how honored I am that they chose ME to be their photographer...!

 

A "whirlwind" session...

with GREAT success!  I had so much fun working with this beautiful family from Southlake today...I can honestly say it was one of the quickest sessions I have ever had and also one of my favorites!  From start to finish the session was smooth...great lighting, beautiful faces and a very "cheery" little one year old girl...I have not looked at all the pictures yet...these are just a few that caught my eye...

It's been a while...

I have been a little behind on my posting...you see...the "tummy bug"  paid my family a little visit this past week...a very unwelcomed guest!  Not fun!  But we are all doing better now...and not even the worst of ailments could have kept me from a weekend of great photography...I had so much fun working with these two families...I couldnt wait to share a few...what is especially fun is that these two families know each other and are good friends! 

First up...the 'P's...these kids are SO fun and energetic...!

and now...the 'M' children...they are by far the most loving and proud 'big brothers' ever!

I love having a large family...and I love working with large families...there is just SO much love and energy!  I can wait to have MY family pictures made this fall!!!

Adorable brother and sister...

These two kept me hopping the entire session!  They are the most playful, silly and wiggley children I have been around in a long time...!  I got so many great images from this session...I cant wait to see them all...

These kids have the most beautiful eyes...

strike a pose, baby 'O'...

This is little Olivia...she came in for her three month session and gave me some great 'poses'. She is one of the tiniest little 3 month olds I have ever met!  I first photographed her as a newborn...

I think she was one week old here...sleeping beauty...

and now three months old...such a little "baby Diva"...

I love her big brown eyes...they're yummy!  I'm so glad that Olivia is on my baby plan...we will all get to see a lot more of her in the year to come!

He smiled for me...

Meet my newest little client, baby Luke!  Isn't he adorable!  Luke is only 11 days old!  He and his parents 'braved' todays rain for his newborn session...and I am so glad they did...!  This little one stayed awake the entire session despite our vain attempts to get him to sleep...!  But I didn't mind...his eyes are just beautiful...I had fun with this one...

Gideon...

How could I forget Mr. Gideon...he stopped by with his mom and sisters for their viewing...and I could'nt resist...I had to pull out my camera, again!  After all...I got this cool new white couch for my studio and a gorgeous boy with clear blue eyes...why not!  I love this baby...!

Miss Sweet Cheeks...

I got to see one of my favorite babies this weekend...I havent seen her in a while...I cant believe how much she has grown!  She is six months old now and doing all sorts of fun things...like sitting up, wearing fancy pearls and pulling her mommy's hair...she seriously looks like a baby doll...I just love her cheeks!

" I LOVE Heather Bookout!"

I am back from my visit to Bookout Studio....and it was AWESOME!!!  Although Alabama air makes me sneeze...and sneeze...and sneeze...it is beautiful there...and the chance to get to know Heather and 9 other photographers from all over the country was one of my favorite experiences ever!  Heather is one of the most generous people that I have ever met.  She shared her time, studio, knowledge, clients and her friendship with me and I am SO grateful!  I come back to Texas with a "million" new ideas...and a  rediscovered love for my business!  This weekend has reminded me of my goals and why I started my business from the begining...Thank you Heather for being such an inspriation to me and also for your wonderful encouragement. I am so blessed to know you!  Thank you also to Ben, I can't wait to see where your amazing talents take you and thank you for sharing your wife with us this weekend.  Thank you Amy for going through this whole experience with us girls...you are a great assistant and an awesome photographer...and darn funny!  And also thank you to Amber...you are the most beautiful pregnant woman ever!  You have also been so nice to me over the phone and you were even more wonderful in person...thank you for all your hard work on the tags, maps and survival bags for this weekend...you kept us organized...your awesome!

So...this weekend the photographers had to draw for our locations to shoot at and also for our models.  The models were all some of Heathers clients...they were all wonderful....ranging from age 18 mo. to a senior in High School....I drew this handsome little boy, 5 year old Dylan...is he gorgeous or what...?!  I was thrilled to work with him...he was the perfect model...I went shopping that afternoon for him and bought him this outfit...it fit perfect...his mom even let me spike his hair...thank you Dawn!  Our location was downtown Huntsville...how lucky did I get!  Here are just a few...I took so many great pictures!

Dylan didn't complain once...not even about being in a suede jacket in 93 degree heat...what a true model...right!  And we even took these at 11am...I was in a panic...I normally would never shoot at that time of day...but I love the way these turned out!  Thank you Heather for making me 'stretch'.

I will be in contact with all of my new friends...I hope you all had safe trips home!  I can't wait for our 2nd annual Fresh & Focused...cause' "thats how we roll..."  -Marquette
