It's not everyday...

you meet a girl like Quinlan...this little girl is so special!  Obviously she is super-cute, but she is also very sweet and so smart.  This toddler was actually teaching ME sign language!  I have learned around eight new words in sign language because of meeting Miss Quinlan.  Take a close look at her bracelet in the second picture..it's the 'I love you' sign!  She also can count in spanish, smart cookie!  Sometime in December Quinlan will have a new baby brother...and I have no doubt that she will be a wonderful big sister!

Can you believe that I happened to have a peti skirt in my car that matched up so well with 'mom's' shirt...Oh, I am good..  --wink wink--

Gorgeous Senior from Keller...

Meet Paige...and what really is there to say!  She is so beautiful and I love her auburn hair!  I had so much fun with her, we went to two different locations in Fort Worth and had many clothing changes... Basically we just played!  I'll just let the pictures speak for them self...hope you like the "peek" Pamela and Paige..!

 

 

This is how you do it...

meet the Smiths...one of the families I worked with yesterday.  All the ingredients for a successful family session are here...start with an adorable family, throw in some coordinating clothes, toss in some FUN and stir in a little 'bribes' ( fruit snacks ) and you get a perfect family session!  Ok...seriously, I had a wonderful time getting to know this family...I'm sharing a bunch this time... 

In full swing...

The holiday season is definitely upon us...every one is excited about getting their family pictures made and ordering Christmas cards!  It is a really fun time of year.  I esspecially like that the weather is getting cooler, thank goodness!  I will be blogging frequently in the days to come...I am trying to keep up a little (wish me luck!)  Thank you to all of you who check the blog often!

Here is the Lazo family...we have been trying to coordinate our schedules for months...but good things come to those who wait...our session was fun and stress free...I have not even had time to look at them all but I wanted to at least share a couple with you!  Little Ava is a doll...and amazingly smart! I could have taken her home with me...!

what a difference...

... a year can make!  Today I got to play with one of my sweetest little clients, Miss "G".  This was the third time I have photographed "G" along with her parents...and while they are always great...today was just extra fun!  Miss "G" has completely come into "her own"!  She is fun and giggley and just a little silly...a far cry from the shy little girl I have seen the last two years!  Though she is still a tiny lil' four year old...her personality is as big as her smile...!

Christmas Cards...

I have been getting many request to see Christmas card samples...and finally, they are ready! I have 14 new beautiful samples to choose from...so if you are interested, give me a call or send me an email...AND REMEMBER...many of you who had sessions earlier this year with me may have already choosen your pictures for the cards, if you did, I will still have them on file!  Here's a few...

 

I'm back...

we had such a great time at Sea World...!  My kids love going there...since we have season passes we go pretty frequently.  San Antonio is just the right distance...close enough to drive and far enough to really "get-a-way"!  The weather was absolutley gorgeous - clear and breezy and a high of 75 degrees, perfect!  It always surprises me though, that the first thing my kids want to do is to get their faces painted...isn't that funny...whether we are at Sea World or Disney...they get such joy out of this...SO, here is Madison and Jack....

I should add that my little Luke wanted nothing to do with the face painting!  So to prove that I REALLY do have three children here is a picture of all of them....just before the face painting of course...

You know, I think they must get a kick out of making me work so hard at photographing them together...it must be an "inside" thing...every picture I took of the three of them they are ALL looking in different directions...this HAS to be on purpose...oh well... they are beautiful anyway and I thank God for every day with them!

whew...what a busy week...!  The Holiday rush is well underway...and I'm loving it!  I got to work with six fun families this week...and ONE, NOT so fun lizard...(dont ask...yuck!).  But now...I am going to play!  Terry and I are taking our three 'babies' to Sea World tomorrow for a long weekend.  We will come home Monday early evening. YES, the older kids will miss school on Monday...but,they are doing SO well in school, I am not too worried about one day missed...I think that a fun weekend and one day of playing "hookie" has been well deserved!  I will get back to all emails and calls on Tuesday, Oct. 23rd.

Now about this 'pretty baby'...this is my client-turned-friend's little 9 month old daughter...she is just so precious!  Not only is she beautiful, like her mommy, but she is SO funny and she knows it.  This is one of my FAVORITE image from her session this week...

that is what this gorgeous family from Keller say to each other to get a kiss...is that adorable or what?  I really enjoy this family...they are always so loving and patient with each other.  I had to share a quick peek...hope you like!

Easy as 1,2,3...

Gosh...I know I say it all the time...but it's true...I have the best, most adorable clients in the whole entire metroplex! All of my little 'Simple Treasures' children are so special to me, I love them all...and the Mayhew kids are a great example of that.  These three are SO much fun...and giggely and sweet...I just couldnt have had a better Saturday morning...take a look...

This last picture is just so funny, it makes me smile!  It was actually one of the first pictures I took...this little guy just needed a some time to warm up to me....it had been a while since our last session.  We made friends shortly after this however, once he learned that I had "Spider Man" gum...he melted like butter....LOVE him...!
