Playing Catch-Up...

WOW...what a crazy week I have had....between husband stuff, kids stuff, work stuff, Madison's gymnastics, soccer season and volleyball season starting in the same week...whew...I have worked up a sweat!  And I fully admit that I have neglected the blog...hey, somethings gotta give, right?  Anyway...I have a weekend full of some really fun sessions ahead of me.  SO...before I get too far behind I want to play a little blog "catch up" to recap my last week...deep breath...and hear we go...

Matthew, an awesome senior I got to work with...!  What a "stand up" guy he is...and so handsome!

And baby "J"...three months already...and getting so strong!  As Always I had to throw his beautiful mommy in some of the pictures!

Next up...Miss "A"...I just love her beautiful eyes... Though she still isnt sure about the lady behind the camera...!

Introducing...Mr. "W"...this little 9 month old is full of personality...such a cutie!

 

And last but not least...Mrs. "B"...I have been meaning to share her photos....I loved working with this awesome lady...We did these pictures in honor of her 19th. wedding anniversary!  You look beautiful Karen..!

 

The Hall Family...

I really want to introduce this family to you as "My Dear, Wonderful, Exciting friends...The Hall Family"  because that is just how I feel about them!  Our family's friendship first began between Diana and I...we were fast friends after meeting at a photography gathering.  Diana is an extremely talented photographer!  Her work is beautiful and fresh...but it is her genuine spirit that I most adore!  She and I have shared many great moments as friends...and we make excellent roommates when traveling to different photography events!  Terry and I love spending time with the Halls and we think thier two children are just awesome...My kids think that thier son is a "rock star"...and your baby girl is a little doll!

I was completely honored when Diana asked me to photograph her family and today  was the day... I must say...I love the results!  I had such a wonderful time with my friends today...I hope that they had fun too.  This family is so close and loves each other so much and I really think it shows through in these pictures.  And Diana, you have the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen in my life girl...you are beautiful!  I love you guys...and I hope that you like your pictures!

 

Sweet Baby Girl...

I am so excited to share these pictures from a session I had today...This is little baby "G".  She is a natural in front of the camera...*wink*...once we got some milk in her tummy she went fast asleep and let us mold her into any position we wanted!  I especialy love newborns...they have a magic about them...you cant help but want to cuddle with them and smell thier little heads...I had fun with this one...thank you for choosing me to photograph your beautiful angel...

 

Baby Nick...

This is my precious four month old nephew, Nick!  He and my sister Bo came over today for lunch and for a quick minisession of coarse...Baby Nick makes the most adorable "cooing"sounds, he is already quite vocal.  And as you can see, he has big,beautiful dark brown eyes...I just love him!  He is growing so quickly...it seems like I just showed you all his newborn pictures...!  What a gift this sweet boy has been to our family...

The FLIRT...

LOVE HIM...I can never get enough of this little man when he comes in for his sessions!  This is Jaxson and he is soon turning one year old.  He is an absolute doll.  The girls wont have a chance when it comes to this little guy...I swear...he already knows how to "work" those big brown eyes!  Marla, thank you dearly for sharing Jaxson with me this year...he holds a very special place in my heart and you do too!

Lily Bug...

I have known this little princess her entire life!  I first met her parents when I did their maternity pictures...and now..."Lily Bug" (as I have always called her) is a picture perfect two year old!  She has grown into quite a cutie pie...and soon will be a big sister!  She is a joyful little toddler who has dicsoverd sticking out her tongue...and does it often!  It makes me happy that I get to watch my clients grow like this...I am so lucky!  I hope you guys like the preview!

Brand New Boy...

what a precious baby this is...only days old, so new he still has on his little cord...This is just the right age for a new born session.  I had a great time getting know Mr. "L" along with his very proud grandparents who are in town from Utah to meet the newest member of the family.  I photographed his beautiful mom during her pregnancy as well...thank you guys for trusting my with your sweet baby boy!

believe me...I have felt like THIS before...*wink*

 

Here is one from mom's session...she is so graceful looking.  She plays and teaches the violin...lucky for me since my son Jack has been begging me to let him take violin lessons.  I am so glad we met...somethings are just meant to be!

Coming soon...baby #2...

Well, I had to take a few days off while we had a new roof put  on our home...but now...back to work!

What a great way to start the week...a gorgeous pregnant woman!  This mom is working on baby #2...and chasing around one active three year old!  You go girl!  I had a great time with the two of them and I cant wait for the new baby to be born!  I am really glad to have met this family...you will be seeing much more of them in the future!

 

Jack...

Oh...I love this little boy...this is my middle child Jack.  He just turned six, lost his first tooth and is known as the "King of the playground" at school!  Jack has the gift of charming everyone he meets!  He is a sweetheart...and yes, I am partial...but he IS *grin*.  He loves his sister and brother...loves to keep his room clean...and recently discovered that he plays a mean air guitar!  By no means do I mean to imply perfection here...he is also quite mischievious and has quickly learned how to work those big brown eyes to his advantage!  I took these pictures of him this weekend...he rarely puts on a show for the camera...so when HE asked me to take his picture I jumped at the chance.  These are the product of a 2 minute photo shoot...they capture him perfectly!

Welcome Baby...

I never tire of welcoming new babies...!  I love them!  Newborn sessions are a lot of fun and very unpredictable!  Mr. "G"'s session was no exception...lots of milk breaks, a few smiles and even some spontaneous leaks...!  I am so happy that baby "G" is on my baby plan...he is a gorgeous baby and I have a feeling he and his parents are going to be a lot of fun!  I hope that you guys like the preview!  Love my new basket!
